Billy (Bill) Gene Gordon

Billy (Bill) Gene Gordon, 94, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 12, 2023. He was born on July 7, 1928, in Vernon, Texas to Paul Herbert Gordon and Cleo May Jones.
Bill graduated from Wichita High School East in 1946. He was a longtime resident of Wichita, KS where he worked in medical imaging sales and service. Bill always greeted everyone with a beaming smile and often enjoyed hobbies such as Leica cameras, corvettes, antique motorcycles and flying small aircraft. He had a positive outlook on life and his friendly spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Patsy Ruth Wilson, and his niece, Kristen Dianne Hale.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Gordon of Goddard, KS, his niece Jamie Lynn Noakes of Wichita, KS.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Friday, January 27, 2023, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. A memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Inc, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
