Moore, William “Ed”, 70, Manufactures Representative, died peacefully at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN Wednesday, April 12, 2006, while embraced by his family, following a nine-month courageous battle with cancer. His family would like to say “Thank You” to the SICU at Via Christi St. Joseph. Ed was born July 27, 1935 in Enid, OK. He served in the U. S. Army after attending Wichita State University. He married Janis (Hawthorne) Moore in May of 1956. Ed was an avid sportsman, he loved gardening, playing cards and being surrounded by his family and his many, many friends. He will be most remembered for his sense of humor, his words of wisdom, his faith in God, as well as his life-long selfless dedication to family and friends. Thanks to Ed, his family and friends have lots of wonderful memories and stories to share. Family Visitation will be 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. Monday, April 17, 2006, Downing Lahey East Mortuary. Services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 18, 2006, Hillside Christian Church. Burial follows at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Edward Moore, Sr. and Lydia (Eichman) Moore. Survivors: daughters and son-in-law, Cathy Krehbiel of Wichita and Kim and Chris Sanborn of Augusta; granddaughter and apple of his eye Cassie Krehbiel; brother Homer Moore of Wichita; former wife and friend Janis Moore; and friend, like-a-son Bruce Boyle; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.   1. Janis, Cathy, and Kim – It really bummed me out when I learned that Ed had died. Obviously he had a huge part in my life. I regret that I won’t be able to attend Ed’s service. Kevin and I are leaving tomorrow(Monday)for Portland,OR to see Jason. Gloria and my prayers are and will be with you all. Brad
