Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Dear Vicki, Peggy & Helen Not sure if you will remember me, Sara Coatney (now Thompson),an old roommate/friend of Sonia’s from Minneapolis. I’ve met you all and enjoyed visiting your folks at their home with Sonia. I’m stunned and very saddened to see an obituary today in the paper. I assumed she was still in Beloit and had NO idea she was ill. I’m so very sorry for your family’s loss. I hadn’t seen her for a few years, but we used to see each other at track meets when our kids were in Jr hi & high school. I wish I’d have known she was sick. I certainly would have come to visit. It’s so sad to lose track of people and not know they are having such huge battles. I’ll be thinking of all of you. I hope to see the notice of the memorial service. I will remember you all in my prayers.
We are thinking of ALL of you at this time. I am glad I got to see and talk to Sonia at Elaine’s visitation. If you need anything, Please let us know. Jerry and Marcia (Johnston) Jensen, Jamestown, Ks.

Sonia was a wonderful light in our lives. We are sad that she is gone, but happy to know that she is no longer in pain. We have a card we would like to send to Jerrod & family, and wondered if you could e-mail me his home address. Thank you.
Thinking of you at this most difficult time. Sonia will be greatly missed by many people. Even though I haven’t seen her for a while, I have many fond memories of when we were friends in Belleville, and the many things she did for my kids during our tough times. She is at peace….

Though Sonia and I knew each other for only a rather short time, she was a dear and faithful friend to me. When Sonia moved to Abilene, I came from the Russell office to train her in her new position, and we became immediate friends and stayed in touch. She spoke so often, with such love of her sons. I wanted you to know I share in your sorrow. With love, Nancy Donaldson
