Guestbook

  1. Ms. Dunlap was on the staff at Garden Plain High School during 1955-56 and enjoyed having her as one of my teachers. During a recent ‘mini’ class reunion, we all had a few good stories to recall from the classes we were taking under her guidance. Sorry I was unable to attend her Celebration of Life Service on June 7. My sincere sympathy to all the family. Shirlene (Clasen) Simon Class of 1956 – Garden Plain High School

  2. Wilma and I started teaching at West High the same year(1956). Not only was she a fellow teacher but she became a dear friend, Through her, Bonnie and I met all her Family and we spent many wonderful times in the Dunlap home. And of course we can’t forget those adventuresome trips to Crested Butte, Co., where we learned to trout fish. My,how her Mother could cook those fresh trout with another skillet filled with potatoes and onions. Although we haven’t seen Wilma too often these last yars, we knew she was there and we could visit her when we were in Wichita and rehash old times. Wilma, we loved you and were saddened by your death. Bonnie and Lois

  3. Ms. Dunlap was a great science teacher. She was my Biology teacher at West High and a great mentor to me. I went into the medical profession partly due to her encouragement. My sympathies to her family and her companion, in her passing.
