Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
LOGSDON FAMILY, I AM SO SORRY TO SEE IN THE PAPER ABOUT FRANK HE WAS SUCH A FUN GUY TO BE AROUND. ALTHOUGH WE DIDN’T SEE MUCH OF YOU GUYS IT WAS ALWAYS SO GOOD WHEN WE DID.
Ah B.J. I am so, so sorry to hear about Frank’s death. I hardly knew your husband, but can see his great smile in my mind’s eye. Please know that Rex and I are thinking of you in this time of painful grief. Linda Kraus
My thoughts and prayers are with Betty and family on your loss of Frank. We became friends 40 years ago and have remained friends through out the years. Every time we would see each other, he always took the time to stop and visit. Frank will be missed by all that knew him. God’s blessings and I know we will all see him again in paradise.
BJ and family: We just want to express our deepest sympathy in the loss of Frank. We will always remember the fun times at the donut shop with him and our visits with both of you. He will be truly missed by many. I’ll never forget the times when my mom and dad would come to visit and Frank would come and take my dad out for lunch and then would stop and buy a rose to take back for my mom because she didn’t go to lunch with them. He always seemed to bring a smile to anyone he came in contact with!!! If there is anything we can do for you BJ, just let us know.
‘BJ’–SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT ‘MURPH’ LEAVING US. HE AND I GO BACK QUITE A WAY. USED TO SPEND THE NIGHT AT HIS HOUSE WHEN WE WERE IN HIGH SCHOOL. MY CONDOLENCES. ‘SMITTY’
I am Frank’s niece in Southern Illinois. Unfortunatley, I will not be able to attend the services. I just hope that everyone will remember Uncle Frank for the great man he was and always will be to me. I hope he knew how much I loved him and how much impact he had on my life. He will be in my heart forever. He will be missed by so many. My prayers and love go out to Aunt Betty, Stephanie, Stan, and Tony. I love you all.
Dear Betty, I was so sorry to hear about Frank. I am sure you don’t remember me, but I was Shirley(Karnes)and now Medley. Frank was a senior when I was a freshman. I still remember him as he looked in the paper. He was always so gracious to all the freshamn, and so very kind. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. God Bless, Shirley
Mrs. Logsdon and family,I wanted to send my sincere sympathy in the passing of Frank. I had the pleasure of meeting ‘Loggie’ about 4 years ago through the ‘Rejects’ Saturday golf group. From the beginning, Frank always made me feel a welcome part of the group and I will always appreciate that. He was always fun to play golf with and fun to be around. The fondest memory I will always have about Frank is the way he would greet me on Saturday mornings. ‘Douger, how you doin’ ol buddy?’ as if I had been part the group for 20-25 years. I regret that I never expressed to him how kind I thought that was of him. May God bless your family and rest assured that all who knew Frank will all have very fond memories of him. Sincerely, Doug Geer
B.J., Russ and I send our heatfelt sympathy to you, Steph, Stan and Tony, and the rest of the family. Please let me know if you need anything. I want to help any way I can. Frank certainly made an imprint during his life, and he will never be forgotten by his loved ones and his many, many good friends. He was a very generous man who never hesitated to share his good fortune with his friends. I remember when he would go on his golfing trips he would bring B.J. back a present and one for me, too –a visor, a bag tag, etc. I kid Russ that Frank has probably given me more presents over the years than Russ. Frank said B.J. and I were just alike. He called us ‘Ding’ and ‘Dong’ the airhead twins, or something like that. Once when I gave B.J. a lavender visor he chewed me out. He said he had to buy B.J. a whole new outfit to match that d…. visor. My best memory is from 20 years ago when I was golfing on a jack rabbit team with Frank. He hit the ball off the tee onto a 4 par green and then I (a horrible putter) made the long putt. You could hear Frank yelling all over that golf course, and running around hugging everybody in sight–because that was the way he was.
I will treasure always my friendship with Frank and the good times we shared working at Grace together. Frank will be missed very much by everyone who knew him.Frank, B.J. and family you will always have a special place in my heart. It is difficult to say goodby to someone so dear. God Bless.
