Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Edna, Seeing Bob’s obit in the Merchant’s Directory brought back many memories. I don’t suppose that I had seen Bob or you since I left Mullinville in 1949, but it gets to be a small world. I lived for a time in Kentucky…each time I would see Eddie Sutton, I did not think basketball, I thought of Athol and Bob and smile. I remember us as kids. It seems our families showed up at the same things. My love and sympathy to you. It was nice to have such fond memories of the Sutton and Olson families. Virginia McKinley Slimmer

  2. Dear Sutton Family, We are deeply saddened to hear about your loss. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. Love, Mark and Binny Muncrief

  3. Edna, I am so sorry that you have lost Bob. We all know that you will be together again one day. I can not attend the services Wednesday but will be with you in spirit. Marj Ward

  4. Dear Edna, Bryan, Brent and family, Such a shock, even though we were well aware of his ongoing health problems. We feel a loss ourselves due to our shared past history of many fun times. We do have many treasured memories of good times with you two, Mikesells and us. We miss those times. Time truly doesn’t stand still, and it’s our generation’s time to experience personal losses. We have lost so many of our contemporaries, it’s almost unbearable. Edna, next time I’m ‘running away from home’ to spend a day or two at the apartment, I’ll call you and we will meet for lunch, a movie, or whatever appeals to you. I don’t remember if I told you I moved to Villas of Waterford at 8210 East 29th North. My kids agreed that the security features were worth the higher rent and my own attached garage. You will be on my prayer list for the foreseeable future – healing does take a long time, but it WILL take place, I promise you. I love you, Edna. Norma Jones
