  1. Sending love and prayers to cousins Pam and Danny. I really will miss that big handlebar mustache and that teasing grin below it! Love you truly Uncle Al.

  2. I am fortunate to have met Albert while being his nurse. He was a gentle person and took great pride in his family. He had a great sense of humor. And a love for fudge bars! : ) Everyone at Good Shepherd Hospice truly enjoyed his company and he will be missed. Jenna Vratil, RNCM with Good Shepherd Hospice

  3. I got to know Al when he was a Reserve Officer on the Haysville Police Department. I was a full time Officer on the Department at the time. Al was a really nice guy. He was always so laid back, he never got to excited about anything, and he always had that grin that made you wonder what he was thinking. I would run into Al once in a while in Haysville or out on the Turnpike between Haysville and and Emporia as he was picking up cars for the A-1 Salvage. I know he liked watching the races at 81 Speedway when I was the track announcer. Al and Danny would come out on Saturday nights and have a good time at the Speedway. I already miss not seeing him wearing his cowboy hat while he was driving his Cadillac. Love and Prayers to Al and his Family.

  4. My condolences to Danny, Pam and all family members. Mom told me that about a month ago she and Dad visited Uncle Al. We know how much he loved her potato salad and they were told he wasn’t eating much. Well she had brought some with them and before they left he asked her to set it out so he could east some. Uncle Al was a wonderful person and even though he was ailing he still picked on me. I will miss him and the good natured ribbing we gave each other.

  5. my dad was a funny and good man and i already miss him…. telling me what to do……and talking bout racing and cars…….miss you dad
