Dan will be greatly missed by all attorneys in Kansas (and beyond) who knew him. He was an outstanding leader for the Kansas Bar Association and an excellent lawyer and mediator. It was a pleasure to have known Dan and worked with him on several cases over the years.
Dear Shoko and family, It was with great shock when we heard of the passing of Dan. You and your family have our deepest sympathy and prayers in this time of sadness. Dan was an outstanding man, a person of great compassion and giving of himself to others. He always went out of his way to help others and tried to make those having problems, see a brighter side to all situations. He, over the years, when I was with Render and Kamas, became a close and valued friend. I will truly miss seeing him at the courthouse. May God guide and protect you and your family forever.
Dear Shoko, As you know, I think the world of you and Dan. He was a very special guy who aways had a friendly word for everyone. He will be missed by so many. Our heart really goes out to you. You and your family will remain in our prayers. If there is anything we can do to lighten your burden, do not hesitate to ask. God Bless. Curt Frasier
We’ve lost a wonderful friend and collegue. The profession will not be quite the same with Dan’s absence. Those of us who had the great fortune of serving together with Dan on KBA activities will always recall that Dan’s good humor and great insight made even the most difficult issues seem manageable. He was a tremendous advocate for the profession he served so well. We’ll miss him greatly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of great loss.
Shoko, Please accept Annette and my heartfelt condolonces. I only recently heard that Dan was sick and was hoping it was not true. Dan was a wondeful colleague and great friend. I always appreciated the hospitality the two of you gave me while I was in Wichita. If there is anything I can do please let me know.
Shoko and family, I had not heard that Dan was ill and was surprised to learn of his passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I served on the Board of Governors of the Kansas Bar Association with him for several years. Dan was truly a wonderful blend of humor and wit and intelligence and wisdom. He will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Dear Shoko, Dan made a lasting contribution to the law with his legal knowledge and skills. He made a distinguished mark on the community with his public service and charity. And he made the world a better place with his kindness, laughter and loving spirit. Both you and Dan always made us feel at ease and welcome at any social event. Dan had the kindest eyes, that when focused on you let you know you had all his attention…you were what mattered most for that time. He was robustly warm, truly funny and an absolute gentleman. I know you have lost part of yourself and my heart aches for you, Shoko. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
