Guestbook

  1. It was an absolute privilege and a joy to have known Harry. He was such a gentleman with a great sense of humor and sense of fairness. He is missed, but not forgotten.

  2. I was very saddened to learn of Harry’s passing. He was a well respected Engineer and DER among my coworkers and myself here at Cessna. My sincere condolences to the family in your time of loss.

  3. Linda I cannot imagine your sorrow at this moment, but please know he loved you with all his heart. Both of you are in Tims and my prayers and thoughts. We loved you both.

  4. Dear Linda, Austin, and Ben: This is just a short note to let you know that Harry was a great boss when I worked at Cessna and he continued to be a friend long after I left in 1996 and went to work for other aircraft companies and then overseas doing Christian charity work. We stayed in touch over the years. After my wife got cancer and our family decided to return to the United States, he helped me return to the engineering industry in Wichita in 2006. Working at Cessna was my first job at an aircraft company and Harry gave me many opportunities. But to Harry, the people he supervised and managed were more than just employees. He knew the names of our wives, our children, and made work enjoyable. I remember getting together on occasion for social events, eating something at lunch that Harry or Linda had made such as vegetarian lasagna or the annual Mardi Gras King cake, or listening to stories about how one of the boys had ‘accidentally’ lit off a Roman candle inside the house. My kids, who are now teenagers themselves, still remember those stories. The world is a better place because of Harry. He will be remembered and missed by me and many others. While I grieve his passing away, I am confident that we will meet again and celebrate in heaven one day. I appreciated being able to visit with the family in the hospital and say good-bye to an honorable man and longtime friend. I certainly do not understand why he was taken at this time, but I pray for peace and comfort in this time of loss. Mourning your loss, Brian & Vanessa, Gabriella, and Conner Stewart

  5. Linda, Melody and I send our love and prayers for you, Ben & Austin during this time of sorrow. God will provide you the peace and strength you need during this difficult time while being comforted in knowing that Harry has gone to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. What a wonderful celebration awaits us all when God calls his children home. I wish I could be there to give you a big ‘ol hug but since I can’t, know that we and our church family continue to pray. I love you! Tim

  6. To Harry’s Family, my deepest sympathies for your loss. Harry was a customer of mine when he worked at both Cessna and Hawker Beechcraft as we supported him in the installation of our Williams International turbofan engines. He was a true professional and an excellent engineer to work with, and I considered him a true friend as well. He will be missed by many of us here at WI.
