The Department of Public Administration at the University of Kansas wishes to express our deepest sympathy to the family. Charles and Carol Jones are valued members of our family and we have them in our thoughts.
Dear Carol, Margie Linsner from Catholic Care told me Pauline had passed away. I’m sorry to hear this news. I always enjoyed her and she gave the best hugs. I stopped by Catholic Care a couple of weeks ago with some Bing cherries that I had picked up that morning. I knocked on her door and dropped off a bag for her and we visited for a few minutes. Carol, every time I talked with her, she talked about you and how much she loved you and what a wonderful daughter you are. It is truly an honor to have known Pauline. I’m glad I was able to meet you and work with you when you needed to move her into Assisted Living. I know she was well liked in that little community and will be missed. I’m sorry I couldn’t make it to the funeral today. Please know your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I will remember Pauline always. God Bless. Sheryl Person, formerly with Catholic Care Center, Assisted Living.
I was a member in the National Association of Women in Construction for 25 years and enjoyed that time with Pauline. She was a good friend to me. I’m sorry for your loss. Jo Ann Zandler Beason
