Klebanoff, Marian Bell Wedlan, 94, teacher, business owner and community volunteer, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2011. Memorial service 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 18, at Congregation Emanu-El, 7011 E. Central. Preceded in death by first husband, Nat Wedlan and brother, Robert Bell. Survivors: husband, Joseph Klebanoff; daughters, Myrna Lyons (David) of Atlanta, GA and Bobbi Wedlan Weil (Larrie) of Dallas, TX; step-sons, Gary Klebanoff (Denise) of Bay Shore, NY and Alan Klebanoff (Margie) of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, Jonathan Lyons (Jamie) of Atlanta, GA, Brett Lyons (Marlo) of Valley Village, CA; step-grandchildren, Parker Weil (Lori) of Ridgewood, NJ, Sarah Weil of Northbrook, IL, David Klebanoff of VT, Kara Klebanoff of NY and Sara Ann Klebanoff of NY; great-grandchildren, Avi and Tali Lyons of Atlanta, GA, Macey Lyons of Valley Village, CA; step-great-grandchildren Natalie, Davis and Griffin Weil of Ridgewood, NJ, Nathan, Carly and Emily Weil Rogers of Northbrook, IL. Marian was kind, intelligent, optimistic, respected, caring and deeply loved by family and friends. She was the epitome of strength, character and determination and displayed her love and care with infinite generosity. Passionate about Jewish life and children, her smile always lit up the room. Mr. Klebanoff, I am so sorry to hear about your loss, your lovely Marian. I have been unable to reach you, so thought this would find you. I hope so. My heart goes out to Joe, Myrna, Susie and all the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. It was a joy and blessing to have known Marian. I met her at the bank and enjoyed visiting and getting to know her. She was a very generous, loving, and caring person. She will be missed! God Bless all of you. I am sorry I couldn’t attend the services as we are in Texas, working.
