Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
I remember Nancy when we were growing up in Kiowa: her long curls and big brown eyes, singing duets together for school and church programs, sharing a room, movies on Saturday afternoons when we brought all our dolls and sat them in a row, the day she set up a table near the sidewalk and asked everyone that passed by to sign a notebook, people asking if we were twins because we were the same size I remember growing up together in Wichita: listening to I Love A Mystery on the radio, playing paper dolls, Movies at the Miller theater, sharing a room, double dates, pretending to be each other on the phone to boys, college sorority together, working together at an insurance company. Nancy was the best sister there ever was and I will miss her every day for the rest of my life.
Dear Kristin and Family, So sorry to read about the loss of your mother in the paper. I’ve thought about you many times over the years and wondered how life was going for you. Know that you’re in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead, and do let me know if there’s anything I can do to help. In sympathy, Susanne Hamker
Nancy, dearest friend and confidante of my youth, we played in summers, walked to school together, holding hands, talked on the phone though you lived just across the street, we did our homework together, drove around in your family’s car boy-watching and shared every secret. You are in my heart. Gay Harbaugh Jones
Nancy was a wonderful woman with a warm heart and beautiful spirit. We will miss her at all the family events where she was so gracious to us and made us feel at home. All our best to your family.
Dear Peggy, I was sorry to read of Nancy’s death. The strange thing is that I had just thought about her and thought I should look her up in our class directory. God works in mysterious ways. Even though we had lost contact so many years ago the memories of our friendship last forever. We shared many fun times growing up. My thoughts and prayers are with Nancy’s family and with you.
Nancy was a dear friend of mine during our time together at Munson. She was a great teacher and friend. I know she loved her family dearly and would do anything for any of them. I have missed her and our private talks at school since her retirement. I hope and pray her passing was peaceful. I learned so much from her as a beginning teacher, I will always be grateful for the opportunity to have known her. The thing I admired most about Nancy was her incredible creativity and her compassion for students in need. She will be missed by many. The family has my deepest sympathy. Debbie Good
