Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Lowell used to come into my restaurant almost everyday for coffee, I’m guessing this was after his retirement from Boeing. I remember him being a very soft spoken man, and always had a smile for everyone he met. He will be greatly missed by all of his family & friends. My deepest condolences, Kevin Gilbertson Tippen’s Restaurant GM
Karen, I’m so sorry to have read of the passing of your father. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
Our deepest sympathy to Madgilou and Family in the loss of your loved one and a Great Shipmate. ….. ‘WE REMEMBER’ Bill Morton President USS Missouri (BB-63) Association
Our Condolences to all of you on the loss of Lowell. Our prayers are with you. Bill & Ellen Stansbury USS Missouri BB-63 Assn. 7th Div. Baltimore, MD
Lowell was a true shipmate who will be missed by all, especially at the reunions where we also celebrated his birthday shipmate Stan Poulos (1952-1953)
I lost a true friend and close shipmate with Lowell’s passing. We shared many common experiences during our service on the USS Missouri, but the greatest times together were at the Reunions where we renewed our friendship and got to know Maggie. He will be deeply missed.
Dear Madgie Lou, I was sorry to see a familiar name in today’s obituaries. You and Lowell were part of my parents’ friends from the Builders’ Class who formed a backdrop for my childhood at CHUM. I also remember that Lowell recently stopped me when out shopping to ask if I wasn’t one of the Ward girls. After all these years, I might not have recognized him, but he remembered me. My parents are currently in Texas on a mission trip, but I will pass along the sad news to them and know they will share in my wishes of sympathy.
