Meirowsky, Philip C., 65, retired Kansas Gas Service field technician, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012. Rosary, 9:30 a.m.; Funeral Mass, 10 a.m., both Saturday, June 9, St. Patrick Catholic Church. Survivors: wife, Barbara; sons, John (Amy) of Prairie Village, Mike of Denver, CO; daughter, Julie of Wichita; brothers, Ralph, Jr. (Mary Ann) of Lees Summit, MO, Tom (Chris) of Wichita; sisters, Cathy Hawkins (Jim) of Overland Park, Pat Gerber (Gene) of Newton, Teresa Drouhard (Paul) of Andover; grandchildren, Jack and Max. Memorials established with St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2007 Arkansas, Wichita, KS 67203 and Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219. Downing Lahey Mortuary West.

  4. I’m very sorry to hear about that. I just keep thinking about all the days we played every sport we could all day long. Phil always played with us or helped us construct our own street hockey goal or what ever we needed. Thanks for the memories.

  5. Phil was my good friend; we worked together for many years at KG&E. I will fondly remember the laughs we shared over the years. He definitely was one of the good guys.
