Guestbook

  1. I grew up at College Hill United Methodist Church where Betty was one of my mother’s (Bernice Studer) best friends. In fact, I babysat for her boys a couple of times when they lived at the mortuary on E. Douglas. Later I was a member of Prairie Quilt Guild until we moved to Winfield in 1997. At meetings, I would always go down to the front row and visit with Betty, who had also been in my UMW circle at church. She was such a sweet person, very good at sewing, arts and crafts, and gardening. Her front yard was filled with flowers and Mother always said Betty could just stick a plant in the ground and it would flourish! She will be greatly missed.

  2. Betty was such a wonderful woman. Warm, friendly and kind. I know you all will miss her warmth and smile. I was glad to have known her. You all will stay in my thoughts.

  3. Betty is high on my list of favorite people in my life. I’m so glad our families were friends in my growing up years. I’m looking forward to seeing her again on the “other side” of the veil. God’s richest blessings to all Betty has left behind.
