  1. I love you dearly, brother. You still shine with the brightest of light and love. Your candle will burn for all eternity. Val

  2. I grew up with Arthur. Most of my memories are from childhood and HS, AJ loved to talk. He was ornery enough to always be an adventure to be around. We all remember his Green 6 cylinder, Ford, stepside, column shift truck. He repainted and refinished the bed I believe multiple times; He would even polish the brass radiator. It seemed that once he met Christine they were inseparable which was no more evident than when we were seniors and went to Big Hill reservoir for the afternoon. We rode our one speed bicycles out to Elk City reservoir in the middle of July without water to drink many times. We would fish on the Elk River behind Glenn Cliff farms, Rajah lake and at the outlet of the reservoir. We were the last class to be able to buy beer at 18 years old. My last memory was of Art filling up the Chemistry sink water troughs at the juco and making “boats” to sail down the troughs by letting water out of the sink, and then using the gas outlets and hose as a flame thrower to set the boats on fire. He was always an outside the box guy and it seems that thinking served him well, as he became extremely successful in his career and took such good care of his family. I have been and always will be his friend.

  3. Although the time we’ve worked together has been brief., it has been such a privilege to have known AJ. May God comfort you in the days, months and years ahead.

  4. To the family of Arthur (AJ) Jones I send my heart felt wishes for each of you to find peace in your time of loss. Respectfully, Dana

  5. My little brother will be greatly missed. He was one of the most charismatic individuals you would ever meet. One of my fondest memories of him was when I returned home for the summer after my freshman year of college. (Since I was older, he was still in junior high when I moved out.) I arrived home late one night and as I was preparing to hit the sack, I saw a rather large spider in my bedroom. Of all my siblings, I’m the one who is not “outdoorsy”. So I tiptoed next door to Arthur’s bedroom and trembling, I told him I would pay him a $1.00 to kill the spider in my room. My other brothers liked to joke that whenever I found a critter in my room after that I should ask myself if Arthur was planting them there to make money from me! He will forever be in my heart and I will miss him so very much.

  6. My condolences to your family. I’m so lucky to have gotten to spend some of my childhood in the warmth of your home. All of you are special to me, and I keep you in my thoughts and prayers <3

  7. Christine, Katie, Kelsey, and Rachel Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. Everyone that knew Arthur loved him. What a gentle soul. Taylor and Bonnie Fetrow

  8. I only knew AJ since my start at Ascension 3 years ago, but in every meeting we had, he seemed to bring about a spirit of joy. While he was incredibly hardworking, he never took himself too seriously and was one of the most approachable, down-to-earth people I have met. I am so sorry for your family’s loss. Please know that you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

  9. From the moment I met AJ when he came to Tulsa,Oklahoma I was impressed by his genuineness and kind spirit. I didn’t get to work with him long but had many phone visits with him and great guidance from him. My team and I want to extend our warmest sympathy to his family. He was a good guy! May he rest peaceful in the Lord’s arms.

  10. Arthur, Uncle Don and Aunt Phyllis came to visit the Framel family in Tulsa one summer, I believe it was 1978-1979. We decided to play baseball in the back yard, I mean running bases after a hit, sliding, the whole thing. There is Arthur in a new pair pants, sliding into bases. On the patio sat my mother and Aunt Phyllis. “Arthur, do not ruin those new pants,” yells Aunt Phyllis. Did Arthur listen? Apparently not, because those pants were covered in grass stains. My wife, Tami, and I send our deepest condolences to Christine and the children in this very difficult time. Arthur, save room in your golf group, because one day, we will get in that round of 18 holes we never got to play.

  11. Christime, words cannot fill the emptiness you and the girls must feel. I hope you look at the number of people that will pay respects to Arthur, and know that we too share on your sorrow. You are not alone. He touched so many lives. By far, he was the best man that I knew. We know he no longer suffers and has recoeved the greatest blessing possible. He now walks with Jesus. Although he is no longer with us physically, his spirit lives on through each of us. I love you Sis.
