Terry was a kind and gentle man. He walked softly and always carried his authority as a judge with humility and respect for all persons he encountered. I am so sad that he is no longer with us but I’m certain he now has an eternal body in heaven and will remain in our hearts until we see his smiling face again in a better place. My deepest sympathy to everyone that loved him.

My deepest condolences. he will be missed by many.
I’m so sorry to hear about Judge Pullman’s passing. I was a court reporter who worked in his courtroom many times, and he was one of the good ones — intelligent, classy, a gentleman, knowledgable and fair. He is an excellent jurist. He is someone everyone enjoyed working with, from Eula at the front door of the courthouse lobby to the clerks, aides, court reporters, attorneys and other judges. The Sedgwick County legal community has suffered a huge loss with his passing. He will be missed.
So sorry to hear of your loss. Terry was a great colleague on the bench. He was a true gentlemen and fair & impartial to all that appeared before him. I am sure he will be missed by the judges who had the privilege to serve with him.
We love you guys. He was the best and loved by so so many.

I am going to truly miss the enjoyment I had, walking the sidelines of the local Rugby pitch with Terry. We didn’t just talk rugby. Family, business and many other topics were on our agenda, and his insight and intelligence were a pure pleasure. Rest in Peace mate, I will miss you.
Our Love and Prayers to Patty, Shane and Blair. We will truly miss Terry, all his love and support and friendship will always be with us. Thank You Terry for just being a good good person 🙏🏼 Always supporting us and lifting us up in your prayers. RIP now our friend and may the perpetual light of God shine up you always. Teri & Jerry
I practiced as a public defender in front of Judge Pullman for nine years. He was always fair in his rulings and treated both sides respectfully. He was also a good friend outside the courtroom. We got to know each other better during rehearsals for a bar show. A very kind man. I will miss him.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4 Patty, Blaire, & Shane…..my heart, thoughts, & prayers are with you. Terry was one of a kind. He always had a kind word & a smile for others. He helped countless people & he had a sense of humor like no other. Gone, but not forgotten. God bless you all.
Terry was someone with whom I enjoyed every conversation and I will remember and miss him every time I visit the rugby pitch. His generosity, wisdom, and intelligence were always evident and he treated each and every person he met with respect. It’s cliche to say someone made a difference with their life but, with Terry, I know that to be true.
Patty, Shane and Blair, I am so sorry to hear of Terry’s passing. What a wonderful person he was. He will remembered for his happy face and a sharp sense of humor. He was one in a million. My thoughts are with you.
Terry and I played rugby together in the late 80’s. I will forever remember his patented windmill fake. Occasionally it work as intended, but he always enjoyed the thrill of the game. It was a pleasure getting to know him. My condolences to all. I was blessed to have known Terry.
Patty, Blair and Shane – no words can express our sadness at the loss of Terry. We cannot imagine how difficult these past months have been for you. Please know that you continue to be in our constant thoughts and prayers.
Patty, Blair & Shane – We were so sorry to hear of Terry’s passing. We always enjoyed seeing him at the pool and during the years at K-State and Kappa. Sending our love and prayers to you all. Rick & Lori Hilts and Julia Hilts Davis
I’m so sorry we’ve lost Terry. My deepest sympathies to his family. We spent the last 19 years working together, with friendship and respect. We had 19 years of his sitting in my office or my sitting in his, sharing ideas and sharing “war” stories of our life in the legal trenches. I loved his bad jokes, his broad smile and his deep laugh. All of us, here at the courthouse, will truly miss him.
Rest Terry, until you hear at dawn, the low, clear reveille of God. Thank you for your service to this nation.
We wish we have the right words, just know we care. We will always remember Terry as a kind, caring and loving neighbor.
Patty I am so sorry to learn of Terry’s passing. Will be keeping you and family in our thoughts and prayers.
The Southeast class of 1971 offer our condolences to the family. Praying for comfort.
I’ve never played Rugby, but I imagine that Terry was valued for his toughness, his passion for the sport, his absolute dependability and commitment to the team, his selflessness and sacrifice for the common good, and, of course, his wonderful wit and fun-loving nature for a beer after the game. As with Rugby, so it was in the rest of his life. What a wonderful person. Condolences from the Stamps to the Pullmans. Prayers for you at this most difficult time.
Patty, we are so very sorry to learn of the great loss you and your children have experienced. Terry was highly respected in the community and as a member of Downtown Rotary. Our thoughts will be with your family as you transition thru the difficult days ahead. Steve and Kitchel Woods
Patty, Shane and Blair – Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. Terry was one of the nicest, most caring people I have ever met. You are all in my prayers.
May his memory be eternal!
I had the honor appearing before Judge Terry Pullman for the past ten years. I will always appreciate his humor both on and off the bench, as well as the constant patience he demonstrated during legal discussions and the way he educated young attorneys, such as myself. He provided justice tempered with mercy, and diligently served the interests of our community. I have the utmost respect for Terry, and I know there are many of us in the legal community who will strive to uphold the high standards he has set. By sharing his light he ignited so many others.
Thinking of you all and praying for you this very difficult morning as you gather to celebrate a live well lived! 💜
