Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Becca, Margaret, Beckyand Naomi, We are sorry that we couldn’t attend the memorial. We enjoyed seeing 3 of you at the viewing. Quite a few of my friends were under Ruth’s teaching. God has blessed the Dixons with words to touch other’s lives. Margaret, since you are living here now, would you consider giving us a call (942-6560)? We would love to meet you at coffee sometime.

  2. To the family of Ruth Blythe: Your mother, grandmother was a very important part of my spiritual journey. I got acquainted with her thru Christian Women’s Club and attended a Bible Study she taught in the Riverside area back in 1967-69. I praise God for her faithful service to Him over the years. Great is her reward in heaven.

  3. Andy our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of need. You are blessed to have had her for so long. Ours for a little while with Jesus forever.

  4. My dear cousins, I am so sad to know to think that I will not get to see my Aunt Ruth here on the Earth! Aunt Ruth was such a godly woman. I loved to talk with her about the Scriptures and to hear her thoughts on passages. I have great memories of our cruise and of my parasailing with my wonderfully daring aunt! I loved Aunt Ruth! My prayer and blessings go with you!

  5. I had the privilege of frienship with your mother at Stitch and Chatter meetings as a member of Dames at WSU. May God bless you with the memories of your mother now that she has finished her days on earth.

  6. Dear Becca and family We all know in our hearts that Ruth is busy teaching angels. She brought such joy to all of our lives. Always ready with a smile and asking how everyone is doing. She gave all of us something to remember her either with her knowledge, humor or just in simple conversation. Love to all Pat

  7. Hello from Mona Schaich My family and I are doing quite well. Here is a tribute to your dear Mother Ruth. In the early 1970’s when I went up to the 2nd floor of the Evangelical Convent Church for young people praise classes and I remember all that. I remember your cousins Bob & Steve Logan were there with us also. I remember we all did a lot of singing and bible memorization. Your Mother was the Sunday School Teacher and led the singing. I remember memorizing Ephesians 4. Ephesians 4:32 was my favorite verse. ‘Be ye kind one to another tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.’ Once in awhile I dream about it at night. Much Christian Love,Your Friend, Mona Schaich.

  8. Please know that we are grieving and rejoicing in the homegoing of our dear friend, Ruth. She taught us so much about living with a purpose. I especially appreciated her because she was my 24/7 person–I could go to her at anytime for praising or for prayer.
