Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Uncle George was one of the kindest, most giving men that God let walk on this earth. He was always ready to help anyone who needed him. He and Aunt Beluah were so much a part of my life. They bought fireworks and watermelon for the 4th of July and we had a family party. My most favorite memory is the Santa that he played each year at Christmas…George was always missing when Santa came up the back stairs but Santa left a fun toy for him. There was also the wonderful family birthday parties with the red dishes to eat on. Even after I married he continued to help and because of that we were able to get through college. I celebrate his life and know that beyond any doubt that he is with the Lord that he served so faithfully for all these years.
I was blessed because God saw fit to give me an Uncle George. Uncle George was the finest Christian man I ever had the privilage to know. He was always there for family and friends in both times of need and times of joy. He never had children of his own but ‘adopted’ all his nieces and nephews and was happy to help them when he could. He was a wonderful man who will always be remembered for his Christian witness, service to God through his work at First Baptist, and loyality and generosity to his extended family.
