My condolences to Carolee’s family. Carolee and I were good friends for probably 30 yrs. Long talks on the phone and long lunches we solved the world’s problems (smile). We wondered if we can figure it out, why can’t the government. We knew our ideas couldn’t fly but it was fun talking and figuring it out! Carolee was that type of person who had love for everyone, cared, and was interested in people. She was the first to help out with everyone, even if all she could do was call or send a card. She was the best at sending cards that always had a note inside. Always willing to give anyone a ride if they needed it or if they didn’t she would still offer. She loved to plan. I figured she was part engineer (smile). I’d say things that made her laugh. She always had that same laugh that went on for a short while. Sometimes she’d say I made her laugh. Not laughing at me but what I said. Then we’d both laughed, at least one per call or lunch. She always saw the positive in things. Always had questions that made me think. We’d share a dessert and say we wouldn’t tell our husbands, you know, because we only ate half and that didn’t count (smile)! We still kept in contact by phone after we moved to TX and now back. She was there early on moving day to TX with rolls…now doesn’t that sound like her! I still have a plant she gave me back in the 90’s, in fact, just trimmed it again and getting more starts off of it. She loved her family very much! We need more people like her!
Carolee has been my special friend for more than 50 years. We taught Sunday School together and she was Godmother to my daughter. She had an infectious laugh, a wonderful sense of curiosity, a generous Spirit, an openness to new perspectives, an enlightened spiritual life and a loving commitment to family and friends. May we all celebrate the ways her presence blessed our lives♥️
I really enjoyed attending bible studies with Carolee. Always a happy person to be around. My sympathies to her family.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
