Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
The entire staff of the Cessna Legal Department is saddened by the loss of Ed Brown. For nearly forty years, Ed played a critical role in encouraging, fostering and protecting the innovative and creative spirit that has made Cessna the success that it is today. More than that, Ed was a generous friend, a warm soul and perfect gentleman who made all of us better people for having known him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Ed’s wife, Peggy, his family, his devoted staff, and all his friends in Wichita and around the world.
Peggy: I was saddened to learn of your loss. In my brief encounters with Ed he was always a fine gentlemen. May your many memories comfort you in the coming months and years. We are thinking of you at this difficult time. With Deepest Sympathy, Steve Clark
Ed Brown was a delightful gentleman who loved adventure, especially if it had to do with airplanes. Generous to a fault, he flew with me out to Washington State in my new Cessna I got before I got a license. Bicycling trips in the San Juan Islands, flying trips to watch the Royals in Kansas City, Ed was always up for an adventure. He had the kind of character you strive to emulate. Ed’s influence was both positive and extensive. I will miss him greatly.
Our sincere condolences to the family. Mr Brown was our attorney in 1990 in negotiations with a competing religious magazine that had threatened lititgation due to minor similiarities in appearance to a new magazine published in competition. With his skill, knowledge and negotiating ability we made an out of court settlement that saved us considerable time and presrved our limited resources. We shall always be grateful to him and counted as our friend and colleague. The Rev’d Kenneth Preston Bradley, Founding Editor USAnglican, Wichita, KS.
Northcutt, Inc sends its sincere condolences to the family of Mr. Brown.
