Guestbook

  1. Jim was such an inspiration to us all. I really enjoyed working with him in the parent work room at McCollom. He was always there with a smile and always willing to lend a helping hand. He will truly be missed. Our prayers are with your family.

  2. My son is a 3rd grader at McCollom and I have seen your husband at the school helping and at the events the school has… he was a wonderful man and he will be missed. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your boys. God Bless, Terry, Jackie, Spencer, Blake & Carson Arndt

  3. I worked with Jim while in the Air Force and also had contact with him while he was a firefighter. He was a dedicated public servant. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

  4. I am so sorry to hear about Jim passing. We were friends in high school and I have thought of him many times over the years wondering how he was doing. I lost contact with him while he was stationed in Eastern WA a couple years after graduation. I remember once before we became more than passing acquaintances I had a bad headache and after asking me he placed his hands on my scalp and pressed and headache was gone. What a great way to get introduced to a good friend.

  5. Angie, Alex and Sean – our hearts and prayers are with you. Jim did so much for the kids and he has touched AJ tremendously while helping out in the classroom. We were honored to have known him. Please let us know if you need anything. The Ressers

  6. angie & family, we were saddened to hear about jim’s passing. I remember your wedding when i visited you in your room. You had never been so in love! When i met your children, that love was apparent again. I wish we could have been there but jonathan was on a 4 day leave before being deployed. I know you understand. I will try to contact you in a few days. We really need to get caught up. Know you are in our prayers always. We love you. Tina & louie mccluer & family.

  7. Angie, Sean and Alex, Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this trying time. I have known Jim for 3 years now through troop 450 and McCollum elementary. Our family appreciates all he did for the Bryce and the boys. He has made an impact on several children and will be remembered for years to come through their stories shared at camp and on the play ground. God bless you all and may he give you peace and understanding. Sincerely Michael, Diane, Bryce and Mikeala Harman

  8. Angie & Sons – I only met Jim a couple times but wanted you to know that my thoughts & prayers are with you during this sad time – I know that it is hard but you always have his love & memories with you in your hearts. God Bless.

  9. I always enjoyed having Jim as an instructor when I had my 8 hour refresher course. I even once got to hose him down as part of a de-con exercize. The next year he said we woould be doing that part in a different way he way just way to cold after that. His love of life, knowledge of his job added so much to his presentation. I will miss him as I know you all will. My prayers are with you and yours.

  10. We never fully accomplish our potential. There is so much more left undone. A beautiful mystery of life is recognizing our purpose.
