I often wondered where Jay moved to. I worked with Jay 30+ years ago at KPTS Ch.8. He was a perfectionist if something was not correct with what ever equipment he was working on at the time it was the best it was ever going to be when Jay finished with it. At that time Jay was also very interested in Volkswagen Bugs and often helped me with mine. He was a proud husband and father often speaking of his family. My condolences to the family, Jay was a fun guy and will be greatly missed.
Mary, Sending our deepest sympathy with the passing of Jay. Your all in my prayers; may you draw upon God’s strength during this time. Love you & miss you, Tam, Joy & Norman Martin
Aunt Mary (and Uncle Jay’s family) I am so sorry about your loss. Eric and I love you and are thinking about and praying for you. I will miss Uncle Jay’s kindness, willingness to allow me to come over and sleep on your couch, watching crime shows, and so much more. Much love to you!
I worked with Jay at abc 29&8 in Traverse City, Michigan. He was a great guy who was meticulous in engineering! He had a good sense of humor and smiled a lot. I’ll always remember him with fondness.
Deepest sympathies to all of the family and friends. Jay was a true friend and will be greatly missed
