We are praying for you Faith and Rachael. We will probably not come to the viewing since we are still nervous about venturing out during the corona virus pandemic. I have a lifetime of memories of your mother. The one thing that I remember most is her strong faith in her Savior. I thank God that she has reached her goal and is in His presence now. Judy and Ron
Faith, I am so sorry for your loss. You look like your mother – beautiful!
We grew up with our families very close together. Our homes were a few blocks apart we all attended Holy Cross church and school so often shared rides for school or activities. All major family holidays were spent at Grandma’s with big meals and often some activity where she took all of us kids to do something like bowling. Through high school we stayed fairly close but with time and marriages, we all moved different directions. For the last few decades, we get together when some of us visit Wichita on holidays or vacations.
There are some people you meet in life and never forget. Susan was one of those people. She poured her heart into serving others, and always immediately uplifted my soul whenever I saw her. You could always depend on Susan to show up. She taught me basic CPR at Girl Scouts and made difficult tasks look easy. She was always straightforward and ready to get the job done. Her presence blessed the lives of so many, including my own, and I’m thankful to have had the opportunity to know her. My prayers and condolences go out to Faith and all of the family during this difficult time.
I came to know Susan through her years of service with The Voice of the Martyrs. Her labors of love will always be remembered. From a distance, we shared much…not only about the ministry but about our families. Sending my heartfelt sympathy as you celebrate a remarkable life.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
