  1. John was a kind and wonderful neighbor. He will be missed. Prayers for Roberta and the Frye family.

  2. Bert, and Kids & Grandkids & Ggkids….John represented all that is generous, kind, giving, and devoted. I hope you find warm and loving memories of him as I do. His life was built around selfless giving. We can all learn from him.

  3. Daddy, I love you and am glad you are at peace. Every time and every where I travel I always do and always will think of you. You gave me your love of travel. I love you always Joni❤️❤️

    • Joni,
Your father was a wonderful man! The things he did for our community were of the utmost importance. Your mother is a very strong woman and I love her dearly and always well. I plan on staying in touch with your mother, I am aware John goes over there almost every day. Take care honey and I know you’ll miss your daddy as I always miss my father from the minute he died in my arms 🙁

  4. John was definitely a special person. I had the privilege of working for John for many years, he taught me a lot about caring and giving. I watched him sit on the floor and talk to the little ones, laugh and smile with the adults and seeing the good in all. He would visit me at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church where a work and we would sit and talk and walk down memory lane. I miss those conversations. Prayers and blessings to the family.

  5. I, too, am mourning the loss of my friend. Oh how we enjoyed talking politics. A fine man, gone from us to soon. I miss and will to continue to miss you, my friend.

  6. Roberta and family – We are so sorry to hear about John’s passing. It must have been a very tough few years for all of you. He rests now with our Lord and watches over all of you. Peace and Comfort to each! Chuck and Nancy Davis Frazier

  7. John had a long life and accomplished many things. He was a champion for special ed persons. I worked in Starkey’s school division for many years in the 80s and 90s. We had many interactions during that time. God bless the family. I hope all your great memories help you find peace in his passing.
