Frank Joseph Estrada, 87, retired from the FAA, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020. Rosary, 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 3; Funeral Mass, 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 4, both at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Frank was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He served during the Korean War and received the Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Ribbon. He loved watching sports; played and coached basketball, baseball and softball, and was inducted into the Mexican-American Baseball Hall of Fame. Frank enjoyed spending time with his family. He is a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church. As a former member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church he was active in Knights of Columbus, Laymen’s Club and youth sports activities. Frank was active in the American GI Forum, a scholarship organization helping Hispanic students. Preceded in death by parents, Leonardo and Dolores Estrada; sisters, Claudia Jaso, Mary Campa, Margaret Corona and Nancy Arellano; brothers, Joaquin and Peter Estrada. Survivors: wife, Victoria; daughters, Monica (David) Roberts, Antoinette Renee Vickery; sisters, Martina Montano, Celia (Joe) Corona, Jenny Arellano and Josie (Bud) Palmer; brothers, Salvador (Rebecca) Estrada and Larry (Pat) Estrada; grandsons, Steven (Kristen) Beliles, Joseph Roberts, Colton (Jessica) Vickery, Devin Vickery; granddaughters, Alyssa (Billy) Bledsoe, Nicole Beliles, Olivia Roberts and 9 great-grandchildren. Memorials have been established with St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 1912 W. Grand, Haysville, KS 67060 and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 645 N. 119th St. W., Wichita, KS 67235.
