Elizabeth was fun, witty, usually up for any adventure, and a real “people person.” She was known for checking in with long-time friends and always enjoyed making new friends. Elizabeth loved playing tennis and bridge, throwing a fun party, and having a really good margarita…with extra tequila! She was a member of the Monican Circle, Agatharians, Alpha Tau/Delta Gamma, and Junior League. Memorials to: Blessed Sacrament Church, 124 N. Roosevelt 67208, and Dear Neighbor Ministries, 1329 S. Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I always enjoyed my trips back to Wichita because it meant a visit with Mrs. Bennett! She was loved by many. My deepest sympathy to you all.

  2. Dear Bennett family, I so loved this dear lady. She was the most fun and caring person. Even after I moved from Wichita she always kept in touch and I was happy that I got to her 90th birthday party and then having lunch was always a treat. I am sure she and Jane have the St Patrick’s party planned , a lot of our Irishmen are there waiting a fun party. Love you Elizabeth.

  3. Sincere sympathy and love to the family. We have very fond memories from Blessed Sacrament days of our “Bennett” cousins. Elizabeth was a wonderful person, and she will be missed. The Mary Ridder family: Theresa, Mary, Rich, Rita

  4. I have way too many memories of Mrs. Bennett to pick just one or two. But it was wonderful growing up in our neighborhood just down the street from her and her family. I’ve communicated with Dave but I want to past our sympathies on to the rest of the Bennett clan. You’re all in our thoughts and prayers. Greg and Mindy Jochems

  5. Elizabeth was such a gracious, intelligent, witty woman who made the world a better place. My deepest sympathy to her entire family for their great loss. She will be missed by so many!

  6. I love you. Prayers for you! Please pray for me. Will think if you each time I open a bottle of orange juice.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord. And Let the perpetual light shine upon her! May you Rest In Peace.
