Connie, Alan and I have such warm memories of Don. He and Alan sang in both the Chorus of the Woodlands and our First Presbyterian Church choir. He was a friendly face to me each Sunday at church when we would pass in the hall. I did not know when you moved because this covid thing has kept us all apart this past year. It was a pleasure to read his obituary and learn about your adventures together, your impressive charitable activities, and your large family. I hope you are surrounded by comforting family in Wichita because I know you will miss Don greatly. Blessings to you, Penny Bell
Don brought joy to those who knew him. I wish I had known him better. I was fortunate to join Don and Connie in many square dance squares. And again at the Montgomery Master Gardeners plant sales. He indeed lived a full life. A big Texas hug to the lovely family he left behind.
I was so sad to learn of Don’s passing. He was one of the kindest, nicest men I ever met! I loved being with he and Connie while they were in Texas & especially at River Plantation Country Club. My most sincere sympathy goes out to Connie and all the family. Love, Linda Wetter
I met Don when I joined the First Presbyterian Church Administrative Committee in Conroe, TX. Don was always so thoughtful about important things, and family, Bailey, and golf were great discussion topics. He and Connie built a beautiful life together and we enjoyed getting to know them. Generous, wise, and friendly, Don was a pleasure to be around. He will be very missed here on earth as he sings in Heaven’s choir. A life well lived!
