Guestbook

  1. Jack, you made a difference in the lives of many, including mine. Your “Can do” outlook was infectious, and pushed all around you to try harder and do better. Well done! You will be missed. My condolences to Marilyn and the family.

  2. Our Family sends our prayers. Mr DeBoer’s kindness when our son lost his life will always be remembered by our family. George D Reynolds.

  3. Skyler, I am so sorry to hear of your fathers passing. I have not seen you or your Dad in over 40 years, since you moved to Colorado, but I will always remember both of your generosity in gifting me 1 of Timbers pups. I am praying that you will always remember the great times that your family got to share. He was a great man & made such an improvement to all people who love in Wichita as well as around the entire world. Love Les Dixon

  4. Marilyn, Rolf and family, we were saddened to hear of Jack’s passing Saturday from MDS. We are so sorry for your loss. My friend and mentor for over 40 years, Jack was an incredibly gifted man who always set the highest standard and brought out the very best in everyone he knew. He made the world a better place and will be missed by many. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to you in this time of sorrow, Ric and Kathy Marko

  5. Jack was a true gentleman and superior businessman, and he always made an effort to give back to his community. I was fortunate to work with a office development compnay which Jack held shared ownership in 1972, which I learned years later in the 80’s when we raised a significant charitable dollar donation through the auction of aJack’s ski vacation home in Aspen, Co for the benefit of the MCB Tennis Foundation. We all worked to encourage higher bids and raised the largest single charitable funds, only to later learn we had promoted bids from different members of the same group and therefore bids between fellow group members. Jack used his resources generously to support such charitable work. May he rest in peace! Larry Rickard

  6. Marilyn, Patti & I were saddened to read of Jack’s passing. We enjoyed the many years of friendship & treasure our special trip with you & Jack. You & Jack are in our prayers… Patti & Greg Rulon

  7. Marilyn and Jack DeBoer have been friends of mine for over 45 years. Back in the the mid 70’s (Snowmass Ski Area opened in 1967) there were only a few homeowners at the top of Ridge Run on Faraway Road in Snowmass, Colorado. All of us quickly became acquainted and looked out for one another. Due to this camaraderie we were occasional guests at the DeBoer’s home. They were always so gracious and made everyone fell more like family than friends. My best recollection of Jack was how he impacted my life as I embarked on what would become a forty year real estate career in Snowmass. In addition to being a client, Jack mentored me in his own special way-sometimes spoken often by example. One item I remember on his Snowmass home office desk stated his business philosophy that I adopted. It was a cut out wooden block with the message “Can Do.” Jack, thank you for being my mentor. I was proud to be your friend. Cory Ferguson Nancy Ferguson Snowmass Village, Colorado
