Debra was one of the greatest friends anyone could ask for. She was always there to listen to your problems despite what might be going on in her life. She has touched my life in so many ways. I’ve had the pleasure to work with Debra for over 20 years and watch her grow a career in HR like no one else. We shared so many stories about our families, kids and even her grandchildren. Debra was taken to soon from this earth but she stands next to the Lord looking down on us everyday! I look forward to the day when we are rejoined my friend. I love you and miss you! Sherri Hill
Debra was a friend and H.R. colleague. We shared many emails seeking advice from each other. She was funny and smart and determined and spoke of her family often and with great love. My condolences to the family and prayers in the days and weeks ahead. Debra will be greatly missed. Randy Keasling, Director of H.R., City of Great Bend.
Debra is responsible for where I am today. She was a wonderful soul who could take a look at you and know the right words to say, even if you weren’t ready to hear them. She just knew. Her infectious smile and adorable accent always brightened my day. My daughter Hannah and I also used to help take care of her beloved kitties and we enjoyed being part of her life. Bret, my prayers go out to you as I know you are lost without your best friend.
Gosh – this is such a numbing and raw feeling. I’ve known Debra since high school. We became friends through extracurricular and social activities – a friendship that would span these past 40 years. I loved Debra! I loved her laugh – I can hear it now in my head. She was the best person to be around. She was strong yet gentle in her convictions. Her love was unconditional and wholehearted. I’ll miss you sweet Debra – you’ll never be forgotten and your memories will live on through us you left behind. Love you! Julia Wilson, Reagan Class of 1980
Debra and I shared many great moments. We laughed and laughed. We cried. We met at church, we went to junior high and high school together, and we worked in banking together for many years. She was very smart and witty, and had a great spirit. I will never forget her. I am mourning and sharing the sorrow with her family. Lighting a candle and looking forward to meeting her again in our next life.🙏
I’m so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Debra at the bank in McPherson. She loved sharing stories of her grandchildren visits. Cindy Christiansen
Ms. Debra was wonderful to all the children. My daughter says she was super nice to anyone she met and if you were alone or shy she would always come dance with you in the “Barn” at Pathway. We miss her already! My daughter also says that she was really good with helping you memorize your verse and let you take your time until the verse really stuck.
Debra was a dear HR colleague as well as personal friend. We figured out much in the line of HR madness together over the years. Her friendship will be missed greatly. She was a light to me and everyone she encountered. “Bless their heart” were words she shared many times as we discussed the unique challenges along the way of working with people. Praying for God’s peace for Bret and the family. Gwen McClenton

Debra and Bret joined our Pathway Home Team over 5 years ago. They were a wonderful addition and such faithful Christians. Debra and Bret helped with the Valley Center launch and you could see them working with kids, holding babies, and setting up and taking down the stage, the auditorium and packing everything away. Debra was very dedicated to working with students. She was my mentor when I volunteered to teach Day Camp. Her smile and encouraging words were shared with all of us. We will miss Debra, but know that we will see her in heaven. BJ Wells and Ed Frey
I did not know her, but I am a friend of Claytons. My heart goes out to the family on this great loss.

I want to express my deepest sympathy to the Reynolds Family-my name is Bruce Schultz and retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield over in Hutchinson. I have so many memories of calling on Debra for years at the bank- from reviewing benefits with her and conducting employee meetings at all the bank locations. She was so caring and truly was committed to making sure her staff was educated. She will be deeply missed by all of us-I am so sorry!! Bruce
