  1. Rest Hector, until you hear at dawn, the low, clear reveille of God. Thank you for your service to this nation. Career U.S. Army, 26 years.

  2. Sleep in Heaven Mr. Hector. It was great knowing you. I still remember the smile I put on your face when I went over to drop off a few Puerto Rican gifts for you. Lourdes and family, we love you all and I’m so sorry for your loss.

  3. I first met Hector in 1973 as his commanding officer in Korea. Later when I was assigned to Ft Carson, Co we reestablished our comradeship. I met Rosa and saw his twins, Lourdes and Mary grow into amazing young women and serving our country with military service and first responder. As a proud Puerto Rican I am honored to have served with him and knowing that he was a “Borinqueneers” from the famous 65th Infantry Regiment from Puerto Rico. “Going home, but will never be forgotten”. Adios amigo. Hooah!!!
