  1. I remember my uncle Ralph as a very outgoing and adventurous man who loved his big family and dear Mary Jo. Ralph and Mary and kids came through my hometown on their way to the boundary waters many times and always found a welcome and meal waiting at my mom’s house. She loved these visits. It kept her in touch with the Stepan family and her childhood friend, Mary Jo. I could never imagine taking all of those kids camping and canoeing and came to admire the spunk and advertureous +spirit of the whole DiMatia clan. We love you and hold you in our hearts and prayers as you remember your dear Dad. Love, Anna Mae (Stepan) Vagle

  2. Rest Ralph, until you hear at dawn, the low, clear reveille of God. Thank you for your service to this nation. U.S. Military, WWII.

  3. Dear Tom, My condolences to you and your family. Quite impressive! Back in the old days when I would sometimes take you and your friend (Nick?} home from work you talked some of your father. I knew that he had became a nurse. So commendable. I have a huge respect for nurses. With this much family and this many years, I’m sure lots of wonderful memories. Love, Frances Busby Caliendo

  4. I worked with Ralph back in the day, when I worked in the OR at St. Francis. Always with a smile, a great clinician, with such a dry sense of humor. Condolences to the family. Morghan. Chambers, APRN

  5. To my Friend Tom Dimattia and family. Please accept my sympathy on the loss of your patriarch. What a family, and when our parents leave us, much wisdom is gone from us. My prayers for comfort and peace to all the family. Ginny Sartorius

  6. To my friend — and former golfing buddy — Joseph . . . . . Pat and I send our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy to you and your family, on your Dad’s passing. His legacy will live for generations through your extended family. You were all blessed to share so many decades with this man. Please know you Mom and your brothers and sisters will be in our prayer intentions. May God bless and comfort you in the days ahead. Your friends share this loss with you, Joseph; I’ll be thinking especially of you and Renee. Focus on the memories of the love and support from your Dad. Peace be with you. Dan and Pat Chambers
