I had the pleasure of knowing my dearest friend’s father who had such a spark and fire in his personality. I loved how much he loved his beautiful Greek roots. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of his children and their families. I love you Lucinda and I hold you in my heart as well as your father. I know how much you love him and your brother and sisters. God bless you all and keep you. Many blessings and with much love – Angelica, Paul, Nate, and Gabe
To Steven and family: We at Midian Shrine mourn the passing of Steve. May his memory always be a blessing to all who knew him.
I only met Steve once, but that once he was kind and helpful when I needed both. Sincere condolences to the family, especially to Lucinda who was a student of mine at WSU. Ellie Shore, retired professor of psychology
To Melissa and the entire Anthimedes family: So sorry to hear of the passing of your dad, a good and generous man. Hugs and God’s comfort to you all.
To Steve- your dad was such a sweet, special man. I remember how he would show us things and tell us stories and he always made everyone feel so special and as if they were the only one to have ever walked into his store. His love for his family was always so evident as well as his pride in you all. I’m so sorry for your loss. He will certainly be missed and the world is a little dimmer for having lost his special light. All my love and thoughts are with you and your family at this time. Jaclyn Gilchrist- Parks
To Lucinda and family – thinking of you all in this time and sending all our love. May your father be at peace. -Alex and Donna Huffman, Andrew Malley, and Kelsey Morris

A wonderful man, father, and grandfather. The joy he brought is everlasting and his spirit will carry on through all those who had the pleasure to know him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Love, Marco, Nicole, Olive and Opal

I have lost a dear friend. We have known one another over 50 years, so many great memories, stories, celebrations, discussions, parties, history lessons, visits to his home and jewelry store. My regards to his family. A final toast to my “brother” – .Skinny Asses, that’s what I heard, Steve said it in Greek. Peace to you my friend.
I was so sorry to learn of Steve passing. He was a true entrepreneur and had a definite “can do” attitude. My condolences to you Steve and others of the family. I considered him a friend and respected his many talents and sense of pride in his family, community and business. Paul Stephenson
To Steve and family; Dahl and I enjoyed so much visiting with your father in the store and at Al Bero’s. I wish he had let me work with him on his autobiography! So sorry for your loss.
Steve, you know Joy and I just loved your dad so much. We’re so sorry we were out of town for his memorial. I’ll never forget the time he spent helping me to redesign Joy’s ring, and to pick out the most perfect diamond I could possibly afford. We will never forget the time when, after resizing the ring, post proposal, he insisted that he had not seen this supposed proposal, and that I would have to get down on my knee right then and there or he would not believe it was valid. That’s still one of our favorite wedding pics, and even more so now. Stini yiamas!!! My friend. Let’s get together soon.
Steve was my mom’s neighbor for many years. I remember his as a warm man. I know that he and his wife and I believe Lucinda entertained me at times. It’s sad to lose another piece of my childhood.
Steve was a gentleman and a scholar. He inspired so many with his zest for life, his love of country, and his love of family and friends.
Sophokles made our wedding rings. He was a pretty amazing human being and business man. He always taught us a lesson in something when we were in the store. I didn’t realize he had passed. He will be missed.
I was so sorry to hear about Steve’s death. I was a jewelry salesman for 30 years and knew Steve very well from my days with Colibri and Seiko. He was always fun and great to be around! I miss his smile and his laugh! Condolences to Steven and the family.
Athena Jewelry and Steve, and your family have a special place in our heart. My wife and I bought our rings here 27 years ago, and we are still married today! Praying for you all!
Dear Dad, Papou-You are in our thoughts and prayers. We miss you and love you.
