Uncle Gilbert taught me to dance when I was 9 yrs old. The song we danced and danced to was “Hello Mary Lou, Good bye Heart” by Ricky Nelson. Thanks for the dance Uncle! You’ve earned your R.I.P. Barbara K.
Rest Gilbert, until you hear at dawn, the low, clear reveille of God. Thank you for your service to this nation. Career U.S. Air Force.
I will remember the good all days. The days when we chased uncle Gilbert and uncle Howard around the farm yard for hours. All of us nieces and nephews would gang up on the two of them. What a day that was!
I had the pleasure of working with Gil in the late 80’s and through the 90’s. A man of integrity who possessed a wonderfully dry sense of humor! I’ve thought of him often over the years. My deepest sympathy to his family. Gil was a good man. Brad Boese
