  1. Rest Paul, until you hear at dawn, the low, clear reveille of God. Thank you for your service to this nation. Kansas Army National Guard.

  2. To Paul Holcom’s family: I’m so sad to read today (7/5/2022) of Paul’s passing. Paul and I were friends for many years, in fact Paul interviewed me for my first job at Boeing in 1983. Years later we became friends and worked on the project during Paul’s last few years at Boeing. We stayed in contact and had frequent lunches together, and traveled to KC in search of the ultimate BBQ many times, hitting a few casinos along the way. Paul and I drove from Wichita to San Diego together in 2001 to visit my son and was with me when we were able to visit the Navy ship I served on when I was a young sailor. We also traveled together to Lake Tahoe for a vacation once. Since my retirement in 2010 Paul and I remained in contact via email. I had moved to the San Diego area. We always traded birthday greetings and Christmas emails to catch up and trade stories about our kids/grandkids. My birthday this past June 22 was unusual in that I did not receive Paul’s usual email. Today I did a search on Paul and was shocked and so sad to see his obituary. He was a very good friend and I will miss him. My deepest sympathy to you all. He was a good man. Steve Beyer
