He did all the sports broadcasting for the Pratt community. He was quickly tokened the name "The Voice of the Greenbacks.” He loved this role and retired from this position in 2019. He was a very sociable person and always could strike up a conversation with anyone he came across. His love for the community was commendable but his love for his family was infinite. 1. I was blessed to be one of Dick’s friends. I will greatly miss him, especially because he was the husband of my best friend, Beverly. He always took good care of her, with his love, hard work and generosity. I fondly remember Dick taking me to his work place and giving me a tour of Pratt. He was very proud of the athletes he knew and was an ambassador for the sports programs in the town and across the state. I have met some of his children, and they are wonderful. My sincere condolences to all. Roberta Hettinger
