  1. I’m in shock of this sad news. Phil was a champion cop!! Always the sharpest in uniform , worked hard to stay in shape very Professional. I had the highest respect for him. I was in the rookie class with brother Dan. I’m lost for words. RIP Phil Marceau 🙏. Mark Haydon 0979

  2. On behalf of Anthony’s North High Class of 1975, we want to express our deepest sympathy to Philip’s family & friends. Thank you, Sir, for your law enforcement service to our city. RIP.

  3. My condolences and deepest sympathies to the Marceau Family. It was a pleasure to count Phil as a friend, and a privilege to having worked with him. He was one of a kind and good man in all circumstances. I’ll always remember the shy little half grin Phil would sometimes project, as if to say, “Don’t worry, all will be okay.” Phil brought confidence and solution to difficult times as they they sometime arose during the course of our work on the WPD. Always thoughtful and reassuring. Calm yet projecting power and ready strength whenever needed. Thank you PJ, RIP.

  4. My sincere condolences to the Marceau family. As a senior member of the WPD staff it always made me proud to serve with Phil and the extended Marceau family of outstanding police officers! What a fine contribution to the law enforcement community! Rest In Peace my friend!

  5. My condolences to the entire Marceau family. Phil was a unique person and loved by all. He was definitely a cop’s cop. The news of his passing was a shock and my thoughts and prayers are with the Marceau family. I regret not being able to attend the rosary and funeral services for Phil, but family duties required me to be out of state. Phil’s memory will live on. RIP my friend.

  6. It’s with a broken heart that we extend our deepest sympathies to all of you. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and may God bless you and watch over you! Ernie & Denise Jacobs (WPD)

  7. Phil was a great cop and more important a wonderful person. I only regret that after I retired and he retired we lost contact as I always enjoyed being with him. I know the family will miss him. Dave Warry

  8. Phil was an excellent police officer and an even better person. He always had a smile and greeted you as a friend. He will be a great loss to his family, friends and the community.

  9. Phil was a faithful and loyal member of the excellent team we built together on the Wichita PD in the late 80’s and 90’s. His dry wit, humor, and dependability will be remembered and honored by many. With many fond memories and with the certainty that we will meet again someday. “To Serve With Honor” and proud to have called you a friend, Rick Stone – WPD Retired.
