We will miss our little Gailey. She was a role model for us all. I loved her smile and laugh.
Gail was one of my dearest heroes. She was a “pure soul” who believed in the power of Christlike love. There are few who will ever understand the challenges that she faced all of her life and yet she was always gentle and positive about her life. I loved her dearly as my sister and I am so thankful that I got to talk to her a few days before her passing. At that time, she was looking forward to shopping the next day for Christmas presents for the family. She was excited to know that I was sending her a package and that the family calendar was coming.
In all the times I heard Michael speak – there was one time that he was talking in church and spoke of Gail. He was so proud of her that she had finished her college degree and his voice cracked and he teared up when he said that Gail was one of his heroes and a true inspiration to him. He truly loved his sweet sister. Her wedding was the last time that all of the Robinsons were together.
Now they are reunited with Mom and Dad and now she is finally at peace.
Gail exhibited courage everyday coping with her disability bravely and with grace. She was an inspiration with her heroic example. A kind, sweet soul; her light will continue to forever shine in our hearts.
