I met Betty at the North ymca. I recently moved back home to Kansas too. Betty and I became friends in the gentle yoga class. She encouraged me to take the senior bootcamp class. We both loved walking the Great Plains Nature Center. She was a good friend, always with a ready smile. I will miss her.
I am so sorry to just now learn that Betty has passed away. I’ve known her since the early 1990’s. We used to play racquetball and go for walks around the neighborhood. She was one of my best friends and even after she moved to Albuquerque, we kept in touch. She was a good friend and I will miss her very much.

Betty and I met through our voice (ENT) doctor in Lawrence, KS, when he realized we had many issues in common. Betty had never met another who shared her issues so the doctor thought it would be good for us to share experiences and ideas. We immediately clicked! Usually we sipped coffee at Starbucks or walked through the beautiful Bartlett Arboretum in Belle Plaine. Betty’s smile and sparkling eyes were brightest when speaking of her family. I miss our camaraderie and her up-lifting personality. My deepest sympathy to all the family. I am so sorry or your loss of one so precious.
