Sharon Murphy Allbaugh, 70, joined her husband in heaven on December 15, 2022. Dedicated to her family, she loved her children, granddaughter, and grand-pets fiercely and unconditionally. Sharon had a distinguished career in financial services spanning several decades, including roles as President, legislative advocate, and most recently, consultant at Bluestem Credit Union and Supervisory Committee member at Quantum Credit Union. Sharon was well known and respected throughout the credit union community. Sharon was known for her vibrance, intelligence, and quick wit while being humble and kind; she knew no stranger. Always wearing fun socks and festive pins, she also took joy in wearing holiday-themed and Chiefs-inspired looks. She loved reading, Wordle, crosswords and other brain puzzles, and playing Euchre and board games with family. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels and at her granddaughter's school, never missing a school function or birthday party. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Thursday, January 12, 2023. A memorial service will be at 3:00 pm on Friday, January 13, 2023, both at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Attendees are invited to wear “fun” socks in her honor. 1. Sharon was always an amazing help in my classroom when I had her granddaughter, Ari, in my class.
She worked so hard to help me be prepared for the following week and making materials for the following school year.
She had such an amazing heart and was absolutely supportive of me as a teacher! Rest well Sharon! You deserve it!

  2. Sharon was always so full of sunshine and the best listener, advice giver. I really felt her absence this Christmas as we’re were going to spend Christmas Eve together. I will never forget you and all the time we spent together. I couldn’t have asked for a better second mother. Love you always.
