Guestbook

  1. Rest Lonnie, until you hear at dawn, the low, clear reveille of God.
Thank you for your service to this nation. U.S. Army.

  2. Shirley and Family,
Just wanted to express our condolences to you and your family. I was so sorry to read that Lonnie had passed.
might not remember my daughter and me but we were friends of Dave and his children. The kiddos all played baseball together and I often visited with you and Lonnie at the games. Lauren and Sabita were good friends.

  3. Not many things in life are harder than loosing someone we love, Jehovah God promises to help us cope during such difficult times. 1Peter 5:7 says “while you throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.” Jehovah God provides us a beautiful hope at John 5:28,29 where it speaks of a “resurrection” Im so sorry for your loss. Please take comfort from God’s word.

  4. Shirley, lifting you and the guys in prayer, as just learned of Lonnie’s homegoing. Always have been thankful having him for a Sunday School teacher in 7th grade when we were meeting in the community building in Valley. He was teaching on telling others about Christ and sharing how they may know them. He was the “non Christian” we were to be sharing with and each of us took our turn sharing scripture … and he looked at me and said “what about that Adam and Eve and what they did”, when I began to answer his statement and question he looked me in the eye and shared “always stay focused on Christ and His salvation, do not get sidetracked with questions, but always share that you will answer them after you talk about their where they stand with Jesus.” That was a blessing that has meant so much down through the years. So appreciate good memories. Knowing our Lord is holding you through this time.
    prayerfully,
    Jeannie Waggoner-Voges
