Vern had such a rich life and he was so many things. What a character! My husband adored spending any time he could to go catch up with Vern. Linda was his best friend & lifelong love. We will be praying for her.
Aunt Linda, my heart breaks for your pain. Uncle Vernon was always a joy. We would always find time on the triple holiday ( Dec 25th) to chat. I enjoyed those and will miss having these conversations. His favorite topic with me was family, sharing how proud he was of all his kids, sharing how well Aunt Linda took care of him along with enjoying their time together with family, and how well he thought of me and my family and his findings on our family ancestry. Listening to his stories of our past never got old or too long. I will miss hearing that infectious laugh and seeing them two playing cards. Sending lots of love.
