Rest Franklin, until you hear at dawn, the low, clear reveille of God. Thank you for your service to this nation. U.S. Army, Vietnam veteran.
The American Legion Post #4 in Wichita, KS would like to extend our deepest symphony to the family for your loss. One of our members has a saying to help others remember the 58,000 Vietnam War Americans that gave their all. “IF YOU ARE REMEMBERED, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN”.
Doug was an American military who battled a different kind of war. A war against an illness he and his wife had to battle 24/7.
We take time now to salute and remember a fellow veteran who served his country. Next time you look upon the American Flag, reflect on the memory of Doug McDonough and say his name. An American hero who served with honor and help provide the blanket of security America slept under every night.
