My thoughts and prayers go out to her family, her friends and the Wichita community that she was incredibly immersed in. She left quite a legacy of love, light, and charity to all those around her. I’m grateful that I knew her. The world lost a very genuine, creative, and kind person, but our memories of her will live on.
I will always be grateful for the love and care Mrs. Steinshouer showed as a girl scout leader. She was my girl scout leader. I’m now 43 years old and her impressions will always be felt. My deepest condolences to her family.

Sylvia and I were high school friends and college roommates our freshman year at Westmar College. She was a wonderful person that had such inner strength. I married and remained in Iowa. In later years we were able to keep in touch by Facebook. She was truly a “family person”, always with a sweet smile! So sorry for your loss.
