Ann has always been engaged in the community. Seldom did she leave the house and not encounter a former WSU student. Ann was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church and for many years volunteered at the Assistance League. Her hobbies included playing golf and bridge, attending WSU sporting events, Wichita Music Theater, and Symphony concerts. Ann enjoyed spending time with friends and family, traveling, and her Friday night neighborhood dinner group.

It was my pleasure to know Ann personally and professionally. She was always so kind, interested, and ready to help us with any dietetic project. And she always had her special touch of elegance. She always spoke very lovingly of her family. Our caring thoughts are with her loved ones.
Ann and I were childhood friends in La Porte City. We met when our mothers were on a walk with us. Ann was 3 years old, and I was 4. We had so much fun playing together, later we bicycled to the primitive 9 hole golf course, with our child size clubs. The sand greens were the worst.
My condolences to the family from a long-time friend.
Carol from Ames Iowa
