  1. All the days we ate together, going up to Kansas City to see the lights came on, laughing, loving, helping me when needed, telling each other what is on our minds. Too many memories to tell. Best friend ever. I will miss you. Love you, Ellen

  2. I remember your personal license plate, “dark eyes”, and now the light has dimmed. We met at Boeing many years ago but grew to true friendship when the love of your life, Keith, passed away. We had so many good times and some scary(your foot surgery when you coded). Your moves when it was time to move on from Andover after Keith’s passing. The many luncheons we hosted at Boeing. Your famous cinnamon rolls. Cubicle decorations for every season. You were addicted to HSN! Our mutual friends, Evelyn and Ellen. Our shared love of and respect for AF-1. Your unfailing love of your son, TJ. Our many shared lunches and dinners. You calling or texting saying you were ready for a steak. Our walks through College Hill during Halloween or driving around Wichita enjoying the Christmas lights. Your makeup and hair were always perfect. Popcorn at the movies. You were THE Hallmark Christmas movie addict! Your cats Bandit and Noel and sweet Snickers. You driving me out to Howard, KS to pick up my beloved Lab, Belle. Lefty pulling on TJ’s shoe laces. There are so many memories I have to cherish. May the eternal light of God shine upon you my friend.

  3. What a wonderful lady! I enjoyed our chats about shopping, kids oh and work occasionally! 😍 You knew the drawing database backwards and forwards. Every time I thought I had found a new criteria we could develop some statistics off I would make sure I spent a little time with you too understand the “historical credibility “. TMI I know. We reconnected a few times after Wichita site closure, I loved your wit! And those cinnamon rolls… yum! We are saddened that we have lost you, but a little jealous as you are in great company in heaven. Hugs

  4. My prayers are with all the family, so very sorry to hear of Janet’s passing and Losing touch with her after Boeing.

I had the privilege of working with Janet through programs at Boeing. She was so great to work with and she is part of the many good memories of The Boeing Company. Very thankful I got to know her, Janet was one of the good ones.

  5. Janet will be missed by not only myself but also by my daughter (her granddaughter) Ayri. I’ve known Janet for 19 years of my life. Her son, my husband, has been very important to my life and I am thankful she created him.

There are so many wonderful memories I have with her. We used to love shopping together, going to movies, talking about crafts, sharing our love for animals, and joking together. I’ll never forget us enjoying Century II for a Christmas festival and her buying us our first ornaments to put on our tree in the year 2006.

I’ll never forget us going and getting fried chicken while she was having lunch when she worked at Boeing. The trip we took to San Antonio to see her son graduate from basic training. Or when she came and visited us in North Carolina and we went to the Biltmore for their holiday themed events.

Janet will always have a place in my heart. She was always so giving to our entire family. She created memories and traditions for not only me to continue on in her name, but for her granddaughter as well. May she enjoy her rest now until the Lord comes again.
