A graduate of Kingman High School in 1961, Marilyn later attended Kansas Newman College, continuing her pursuit of knowledge and personal growth.
Marilyn found immense joy in her many interests. She was an avid gardener, nurturing her plants with the same love and care she extended to those around her. She cherished her travels with the Corvette Club, always eager for adventure and the open road. Time spent with her family, her beloved dog Halle, and enjoying a glass of Chardonnay at Olive Garden were among her favorite pastimes.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Omer “Bud” and Margaret Osner, and her sister, Rita; brothers-in-law, Jerry Kallaus, Tom Strohl and Doug Hardie.
Marilyn leaves behind a loving family, including her devoted husband, Craig Chance; daughter, Kellye (Joe) Coppel; son, Chris (Shonna) Neifert; stepdaughter, Tiffani (Scott) Patterson; grandchildren, Courtney (Mitchell) Mathis, Alli (Lauren) Coppel, Jake (Rachel) Coppel, Briawna (Devin) Akins, Zander Neifert, Tiara (Addison) Diaz and Shelby Patterson. She also leaves her great-grandchildren, Lydia, Piper, Elliott, Ridge, Brecken, Lorelei and Sawyer.
Her siblings Anne Kallaus, Pat (Doug) Paul, Theresa (Harold) Stark, Laura (Rick) Franzen, Martha (Ron) Albers, Janet Hardie, Carol (Bob) Heimerman, Francie (Phil) Wendling, and Mike (Leann) Osner will deeply miss her presence. Marilyn also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who cherished their time with her.
Marilyn’s life was a testament to love, kindness, and resilience. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, whose lives she touched with her gentle spirit and unwavering love.
As we bid farewell to Marilyn, let us raise a glass of Chardonnay in her honor and perhaps plant a flower or two in our gardens. After all, she taught us that life is too short not to enjoy the sweet things.

Marcia and I are so sad to hear about Marilyn’s passing. We have many fond memories of our mutual Corvette trips. We will keep her family in our prayers.
I am a first cousin, and her birthday was the same as my Mom, Kathleen Osner Swope. I have had lovely times with her growing up, and more recently with her support during the passing of my parents. God bless her, and I can see her now in a convertible corvette in heaven, having a good time. Love, Joan Swope
Thank you for all you did for her, Sondra. She truly did love you very much and talk about you often. We were lucky to have someone like you take care of her.
To Carol, Janet and all the Osner families, my sincerest sympathy at the loss of your sister. May she rest in peace.
