Brady James Reichmuth, 39, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 2, 2025. Born February 2, 1986, in Garden City, Kansas, to Bruce and Patricia Reichmuth, Brady graduated from Garden City High School and began his college years at Friends University, where he excelled as a starting cornerback on the football team and sang with the Singing Quakers. He later transferred to Wichita State University, earning a degree in mechanical engineering. At WSU he was an active member of Phi Delta Theta, and it was at the fraternity’s summer volleyball events where he met the love of his life, Frances.

After graduating in 2009, Brady joined Bombardier, serving in roles including Senior Mechanical Engineer and, most recently, Project Manager.

Brady was a devoted friend, son, uncle, dog dad, and husband who loved traveling, cooking, and (sometimes frustratingly) cheering for Nebraska Cornhuskers football. His favorite pastime was golf – whether on the course or at the range, watching tournaments on TV, or attending in person (including his annual visit to the Wichita Open), Brady was rarely far from a tee box or green.

He lived his life as the perfect host. It wasn’t just that he could turn an ordinary Tuesday into a memorable hang out – grill going, music bouncing off the walls, and the family dog Toby at his feet knowing an ice cube or piece of meat would miraculously fall from Brady’s hand onto the floor. It was also how considerate, kind, and dependable he was to neighbors, friends, and others. He never tried to be the center of attention, preferring to be the one who facilitated fun, asked questions, listened, remembered, and followed up. Brady’s humor was light and warm, never at anyone’s expense. He paired that joy with thoughtfulness – checking in after a tough week, celebrating wins, and finding ways to lighten the load by being the first to volunteer and the last to leave. He will be greatly missed.

Brady is survived by his wife, Frances Reichmuth (Doll); his parents, Bruce and Patricia; his siblings, Ben (Michele) Reichmuth, Elizabeth (Dustin McMichael) Reichmuth, Margaret (Bret) Tiller, Robin (Blake) Stocking, Blake (Julia Larsen) Reichmuth; and his nieces and nephews, Crystal Reichmuth, Zachary Case, Rye Tiller, Kaitlyn Hardesty, Greer Tiller, Jencie Stocking, and Jorlee Stocking. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Simon Robert and Maria Chaulk, and Alvin and Donnette Reichmuth.

A service to celebrate Brady’s life will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 7901 West 21st Street, Wichita, KS 67205. Memories Timeline

  1. Brady was a remarkable friend and colleague whose kindness, dedication, and good humor touched everyone around him. He gave his best to every task and every person, leading with quiet strength and genuine care. Though his time with us was far too short, his impact will last a lifetime. I’ll miss him deeply and remember him always.

  2. Thanks for coming into my life brother in law. I will miss you don’t have to much fun making earwax candles. I know you loved my joke gift boxes. See you on the other side. Love you.

  3. Going to miss you buddy. You were like a son to us and we had some great times together. Most of all, thank you for loving my little girl like you did. RIP!

  7. Dearest Frances, and Bruce and Pat, and loved ones,
My love and prayers have been with you since I heard the sad news. May he rest in the arms of Jesus for eternity.

  8. The first time we met Brady was at his grandfather’s funeral. He was about 2 years old, all smiles with a firm grip on his football wanting every one to play with him. He added a bright light to solemn occasion and joy for those around him

  9. I had the privilege of working alongside Brady for nearly a decade BFTC. He was not only a talented and dedicated engineer, but also he was genuine and good hearted person who cared about his friends and family. Brady made work better just by being there, and the world feels a little emptier without him. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones, he will be greatly missed.

  10. Brady was such a great human being and friend. He was smart, funny and a great athlete. I know he will be greatly missed by his family and closest friends from GCHS. My deepest condolences to the family.

  11. I knew Brady for more than fifteen years.

When he joined flight test it was clear he was a unique individual. Not just his obvious talent and potential but also the way he could engage with everyone at all levels.

Brady was everyone’s go to guy.

He never had a bad word for anyone and he was just someone who everyone felt comfortable working with.

Being around him as both a colleague and friend was such a positive experience.

His loss is beyond heartbreaking and he will always have a place in our thoughts.

  12. Bruce and Pat,
My heart breaks for your family. My memories of Brady include being at your house and just loving him being there. He was so young (5 years younger than me) and I just always thought he was the cutest little boy. Please know that this burden of sadness is being carried by so many around you. Praying for you all as you grieve…for peace, comfort, and faith to carry you through.

    Love and hugs,
    Kristyn Hanquist (Just)

  13. I am truly sorry for your loss – and for ours as well. My deepest sympathies go to Frances, his family, friends, and all Bombardier colleagues.

I had the privilege of working with him, and it was always a pleasure. Even during challenging projects times, because our conversations were constructive and honest. We could speak openly and without judgment. He had a remarkable ability to bring people together and was a true team player, always fostering collaboration and unity. I wish I could have met him in person; I’m certain we would have shared many enjoyable moments and laught. Brady you will be deaply missed.

May you find strength, comfort, and piece in cherished memories you shared and in the support of those around you.

  14. Reichmuth Family – my prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Brady loved everyone around him so deeply. I still reflect so warmly on the times he invited us over to his house, how welcoming it was and how much fun we’d have. Brady was every bit the hyperbole you could spit: kind, generous, loving, compassionate, strong, funny, hard working, and the list goes on.
He loved his family so much too. Frances- though we’ve never met, prayers for you as you move forward in this life. May our great savior lift you up.

  15. So sorry for your loss Frances, Toby and family. I wish you strength and comfort during this difficult transition. Brady always had a smile to share, and his light-heartedness was always appreciated.
