Frank Runa

Frank Runa began his service with Downing & Lahey in August 2010. For Frank, working here is far more than a job. It is a form of discipleship and a true calling to serve others. He finds deep fulfillment in supporting families during times of emotional need and feels blessed to work alongside the dedicated team at Downing & Lahey.

Frank is a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Haysville, Kansas, where he continues to serve actively as a lector, Eucharistic minister, usher, and sacristan. He appreciates the community’s friendly spirit, small-town feel, and wide variety of entertainment and opportunities.

With a background in the United States Marine Corps, York International, and Goodwill Industries of Kansas, Frank brings discipline, adaptability, and problem-solving skills to his role. He is known for his strong listening skills, attention to detail, and willingness to do whatever is needed to support families. Whether resolving a challenge or guiding others, Frank believes in adapting, overcoming, and sharing knowledge with the team to ensure seamless service.

Frank and his wife have been married for 57 years. They enjoy spending time with their three children, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and their beloved Labrador, Sadie.
