A. Dean Allison
Allison, Dean A. 83, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away Saturday, July 21st. Service 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 25th, Downing Lahey East. Preceded by his wife of 50 years, Jacqueline Kinnan Allison, his brothers James A. Allison, Gerald G. Allison. Survived by daughters June Allison of Wichita, Melissa Allison of California, sister Nancy Allison, Peabody, KS, granddaughter Shannon Shelton, great-grandsons Alex and Grey of Kansas City. Dean was a semi-retired independent oil-producer, graduate of Wichita East High School and attended Wichita State University. He served his country during WWII in the Army Air Corp. Dean enjoyed golf, tennis, music and fishing. He also enjoyed a good card game and supporting his family in any way that he could. He had a deep and abiding love for God and His Son Jesus Christ and endeavored to live his life in accordance with that love. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be sent to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 South Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
